How will I know if you did a good job?

As part of our quality assurance program we will perform a free blower door test and infrared scan before we start our repairs and once they have been completed. This way you have a reference point and you know how much of an improvement we have made. We will review the test results with you and provide a copy of the results for your personal records.

How does air sealing affect my heating and cooling systems?

Reducing infiltration can significantly cut heating and cooling costs. Air infiltration can account for up to 50% of your heating bill and a significant portion of your cooling bill. By air sealing / tightening the building we will decrease your heating and cooling bills and decrease the purchase price of new heating and cooling systems.

How does air sealing affect my home’s air quality?

Air sealing your home will help prevent moldy, humid crawlspace and basement air from entering the living space and help keep dusty attic air in the attic. It will also reduce infiltration of outdoor air pollutants and dust. Properly sealing the building envelope will also reduce moisture infiltration on hot humid days and keep cold dry air out in the winter.
