Spray Foam Applications

Walls

Choosing to insulate your home's walls with spray foam insulation will give you the assurance that your walls will have the most efficient insulation available. Whether building a new home, adding an addition, or remodeling your home there is no equal! Spray foam's ability to provide a complete, seamless fill to each stud cavity will prevent costly heat loss and block the exterior transfer of hot & cold air through the walls.

Attics

Insulating your attic rafters with spray foam will make your home comfortable, reduce your energy bills, and nearly eliminate air exfiltration. As part of this upgrade all openings and vents get sealed and the entire roofline gets sprayed with foam insulation. Because spray foam insulation adheres to the roof line it eliminates condensation problems, increases the life expectancy of your roof, and provides structural support. On the outside the foam layer will be the same temperature as the roof assembly. On the inside, the temperature will be the same as the living space. Being close cell insulation is a vapor barrier there is no moisture movement between inside and outside. This helps eliminate condensation and mold problems. Because you are bringing the attic into the interior envelope of the home you can convert the attic into living space without spending any additional money on heating or cooling.

Air Sealing

Studies done at Oak Ridge National Laboratories have shown that over 50% of a residential home's energy loss is associated with heat transfer and air leakage. Because spray foam expands, it fills the cracks, nooks, and crannies leaving the area completely air-tight.

Basements

If you want to turn your basement into a healthy and comfortable part of your home's living space, close-cell spray foam insulation is the way to go. Applying two inches of close-cell insulation to the exterior walls will provide a seamless, water-tight barrier, help air seal the basement, help reduce radon infiltration, and provide R13 insulation.

Overhangs and Garages

Overhangs and garages are very hard to air seal and insulate properly. Because spray foam adheres to the wood and fills all voids you don’t need to be concerned about air infiltration or insulation settling. Insulating these areas with 4 inches of Close Cell Insulation will help address comfort problems and reduce your heating bill.

Sound Control

Spray foam brings not only the most effective insulation characteristics available to date, but a wealth of other benefits. When living in a multi-story and/or a highly urban area attaining comfort in your living space can be a challenge. Using open-cell spray foam insulation between floors and in interior and exterior walls throughout your home will drastically reduce exterior noise and control the interior noise between units, floors, and interior walls.
